<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmitter which improves an output light waveform by reducing a distortion caused in an input signal when a light emitting element module is driven by the high frequency signal of about 8-10 GHz or more. <P>SOLUTION: The optical transmitter is constituted by forming the microstrip line with a signal wiring pattern 7 and a GND conductor pattern 6 on a circuit substrate (including a flexible substrate) 4, mounting the signal lead 2 of the light emitting element module 1 in a signal lead packaging hole 5 connected to the signal wiring pattern, and connecting to the signal wiring pattern. A pattern 8 for adding a capacitance is provided between the signal wiring pattern 7 on the circuit substrate and the stem 10 of the light emitting element module. Moreover, a line is formed by using an attach capacitance between the signal wiring pattern on the circuit substrate and the stem of the light emitting element module. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
