<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reconcile the management of the detail of printing with the increasing of the printing speed. <P>SOLUTION: The printer increases the printing speed by adopting a method beneficial to a higher printing speed of sending printing data in succession to a printer from a host machine and performing printing in succession based on the printing data received with the printer as a method of sending the printing data to the printer from the host machine by driving a printing section in accordance with the printing data received (Step S2) every time when a data communication section receives printing data (Step S1) and printing an image based on the printing data on a paper. The printer correctly manages the detail of printing by determining whether printing of printing data has been finished or not (Step S3) and storing and saving an ID number added to the printing data, the printing of which is considered finished, for management (Step S4). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
