<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a toner saving printing process using a thinning-out pattern which enables the deterioration of an image quality to be inhibited to a maximum possible extent. <P>SOLUTION: In this printing device, the image data thinning-out pattern is changed in a main scanning direction and a subscanning direction by a printing paper direction, the resolving degree of image data and the resolving degree of a printing device, when the printing process is performed by a toner saving printing function. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
