PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for rapidly and comprehensively detecting expression of a gene encoding a membrane protein.

SOLUTION: The method for creating a probe DNA to a nucleic acid encoding the membrane protein comprises selecting a partial region of a gene which encodes the membrane protein, in which ≥5% of the base sequence comprises an exon sequence encoding a region essential to the membrane binding in the membrane protein, and which contains cytosine and guanine in 40-60% proportion as the total, and creating a DNA comprising the base sequence of the partial region, or a base sequence complementary to the partial region.
