<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflecting plate for backlight which realizes cost reduction of a surface light source device such as a liquid crystal display device, and also to provide a surface light source device using the same. <P>SOLUTION: Perforation is made at a prescribed location of a white reflecting sheet and a crimping press is made and, by forming a folding line using concurrently the crimping press having a perforation and the crimping press without the perforation, the reflecting plate is formed. In the crimping press without the perforation, transmission of light to the back side is prevented, and the reflecting factor is stabilized. A double-sided adhesive tape is stuck on the back side of this reflecting plate, and this reflecting plate and the fixing inclined part of a lower fixing plate that is sheeting processed are stuck together by the other face of the double-sided adhesive tape. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
