PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pointer and a display device which makes it impossible to happen genesis of both crack of the pointer and fracture initiation of the driving division when knocking a shaft of the driving division in a shaft hole prepared on the pointer, while inhibiting deflection of the pointer. SOLUTION: The pointer 21b is comprised of the shaft hole division 21b1 forming a shaft hole into which a rotating shaft 21e of the driving division 21d pressed, and the pointer division 21b2, other than the shaft hole division 21b1, formed in bending configuration. In those circumstances, formation of the shaft hole division 21b1 with lower hardness material than the pointer division 21b2 makes it impossible to happen genesis of both crack of the pointer 21b and fracture initiation of the driving division 21d on knocking of the rotating shaft 21e.
