PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for repairing a damaged cast stator vane assembly 30 in which soldering or regular welding technology is hardly used, and a hand of a worker hardly reaches. SOLUTION: The method for repairing a leg part 38 of a stator vane segment 32 includes a step of searching a cast stator vane segment 32 having the leg part 38 which is needed to repair. A damaged portion 100 of the leg part 38 to be repaired is removed from the cast stator vane segment 32. Next, a leg member 120 for exchange is fixed on the cast stator vane segment by using electron beam welding. Finally, the leg member 120 for exchange is machined in an adequate shape.
