PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress increase in an area due to a power supply line and to obtain a small-size device in a semiconductor device having a power supply circuit laid on an array substrate. SOLUTION: The power supply circuit 5 is laid adjacent to a power supply voltage input terminal 6a and a signal line driving circuit 3. A large current passes in the power supply line 8 between the power supply circuit 5 and the power supply voltage input terminal 6a and in the power supply line 9 between the power supply circuit 5 and the signal line driving circuit 3. Therefore, by laying the power supply circuit 5 adjacent to the power supply voltage input terminal 6a and the signal line driving circuit 3, the length of the power supply lines 8, 9 is decreased. Since this reduces the line resistance which is proportional to the product of the length and the width, it is allowable to form thin power supply lines 8, 9.
