PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid-droplet discharge head capable of simplifying the structure of the support member for the head and making it miniaturized with reducing the number of parts, and a liquid droplet discharge device equipped with the head. SOLUTION: Since the structure of the liquid-droplet discharge head 1 can be simplified by adopting an inspection device 250 which performs the examination on the existence of foreign substance inside a nozzle 21 of the head 1 and near the nozzle 21 by the reflected light from the discharge chamber generated by irradiating the discharge chamber of the head 1 with a light from the side of the nozzle 21, the number of the constituent parts of the head 1 can be reduced and the head 1 can be miniaturized. Therefore, the liquid-droplet discharge device 100 mounted with the head 1 can be miniaturized. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
