PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal, a base station, and a portable terminal control system for preventing communication operations of a user from being restricted in an unintended timing. SOLUTION: A terminal 20 whose call origination and call termination operations are restricted including a function of restricting its communication operations when the terminal 20 enters a call origination and call termination operation restricted area particularized from positional information of a terminal 10 for restricting the call origination and call termination operations, is provided with: a positional information detection section 113 for detecting a position of own terminal; and a call origination and call termination operation restriction discrimination section 115 that discriminates the possibility of inhibited call origination and call termination operations and the possibility of restricted speech on the basis of distance information between the detected position of the own terminal and the position of the terminal 10 for restricting the call origination and call termination operations and informs the own terminal about distance information when the distance reaches a prescribed distance.
