PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress moisture contained in a wet member from entering to a scorotron electrifier when cleaning of the scorotron electrifier is carried out by having the wet member abutting to a surface of a grid electrode. SOLUTION: In a part provided with a gap roller 6, a projection 2d which is higher than a position of a top most edge of the gap roller 6 is attached to a shield box 2 of the scorotron electrifier 1. When cleaning of the scorotron electrifier 1 is carried out using a cleaning device provided with the wet member, the wet member 21 of the cleaning device 20 is brought into a separated state from the gap roller 6b by the projection 2d provided to the shield box 2 in an exposed part of the gap roller 6, and the moisture contained in the wet member 21 is prevented from attaching to the gap roller 6.
