PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pop-up stroboscope capable of effectively preventing the vignetting of strobe light. SOLUTION: The pop-up stroboscope is equipped with a slide member supported to advance/retreat between an advance position where it comes close to a subject and a retreat position where it retreats therefrom on a camera main body, and a light emitting part unit supported to move to a housing position where it is housed in the camera main body and a projecting position where it projects from the camera main body on the slide member. In the pop-up stroboscope, the light emitting part unit is moved to the projecting position when the slide member moves from the retreat position to the advance position. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
