PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sample injection and collecting apparatus, capable of stably and easily injecting and collecting samples to a sample delivery chamber by a sample holding implement, without being affected by external conditions and being used for samples requiring heating to high temperatures. SOLUTION: In the injection and collecting apparatus 10, the sample delivery chamber 12 is connected to a channel 14 and supplied with a carrier gas K. An auxiliary fluid layer part 18 is provided for the outside of the channel 14, to form a multilayer structure. When a sample is injected or collected, a shutter 28 is opened, and the needle 42 of the sample holding implement 40 is inserted in an insertion opening 24 and a communicating hole 26. Since the communicating hole 26 has a sealing structure (of a constitution, in which a septum etc. of a rubber material are completely eliminated) by a fluid (a gas), the sample can be collected stably and injected easily, without having to be concern at all about the leakage (sealability) of the carrier gas K in the sample delivery chamber 12.
