PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and easily measure the electrical characteristics of a planar coil 11. SOLUTION: An oscillation circuit is structured by connecting a capacitor 2 to be connected in measurement, whose electrical characteristics are known, to the planar coil 11 to be measured. With a coil 6 for measurement disposed facing the planar coil 11, an electric current is carried through the coil 6 with its frequency changed in a set range. With magnetic flux thereby changed, a response signal from the planar coil 11 is measured by the coil 6, the response signal changing according to differences in electrical characteristics of the planar coil 11. Inductance of the planar coil 11 is calculated based on measurement values thus obtained. A probe 3 for measurement is used as a means to bring the capacitor 2 into contact with the planar coil 11.
