PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an agent for the prevention and treatment of allergic diseases or respiratory diseases accompanying the degranulation of mast cells, promotion of bronchial hypersensitivity and/or increase of eosinophilic leukocytes. SOLUTION: This agent for the prevention and treatment of allergic diseases or respiratory diseases contains a TRX (thioredoxin) protein having degranulation suppressing action on mast cells, bronchial hypersensitivity suppressing action and eosinophilic leukocyte increase suppressing action.
