PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device comprising a paper feed cassette in which a complicated transfer material size detecting means is not necessary, and in which such a low-cost size detecting means that has no detection error or setting error for size is disposed. SOLUTION: This image forming device comprises the paper feed cassette to which sheets of transfer material are charged, a paper feeding means to feed the transfer material to a prescribed receiving position, and a control means related to driving of the device. The paper feed cassette has a plurality of noncontact type IC tags storing size information of transfer material.
