<p>A small-sized stabilizer controller for actively suppressing car roll while the car roll movement is within the output range of an electric motor and reliably allowing stabilizer bars to exhibit their torsion spring characteristic that the stabilizer bar intrinsically has if the car roll movement exceeds the output range. A stabilizer actuator having an electric motor and a reducer is disposed between a pair of stabilizer bars provided between left and right wheels. The reciprocal 1/(etaP.etaN) of the product of the positive and reverse efficiencies of the reducer is from 1.17 to 3.75. If the car comes in a turning state such that the car movement is out of the range in which the car body roll movement can be actively controlled, the output of the electric motor is so controlled as to be kept or reduced.</p> |
