<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide "a navigation device and an obstacle display method" for presenting only an obstacle on a road to a user in an easily recognizable manner while excluding obstacles which are not on the road. <P>SOLUTION: With reflected waves detected by a radar, obstacles 50 and 51 within a predetermined range from a local vehicle are detected and on the basis of positional information on the detected obstacles 50 and 51 and road data showing a road 52 within the specified range from the vehicle 40, only the obstacle 50 on the road is extracted to present the obstacle 50 which is considered to affect traveling of the vehicle 40 in the easily recognizable manner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
