PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound insulating wall having satisfactory appearance and capable of reducing degree of impairing view and daylighting even if a sound insulating plate is transparent. SOLUTION: This sound insulating wall on which a lateral beam 4 is attached to a front face side of a support column 2 is constituted in such a way that left and right lateral mounting members 3 fixing a lower side sound insulating plate 11 and an upper side sound insulating plate 12 are hidden from a front face side by the lateral beam 4. Consequently, only the lateral beam 4 is seen from the front face side even if the left and right lateral mounting members 3 are used to form the sound insulating wall. The sound insulating wall has satisfactory appearance and reduces degree of impairing view and daylighting in the surroundings even if the sound insulating plates used on the sound insulating wall are transparent.
