PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasoline composition, which can keep up good driving property (response upon acceleration, initiation), even if a gasoline base material is heavy. SOLUTION: The gasoline composition contains (1) a research method octane number of 89-96, (2) a 10 mass ppm or below sulfur, (3) a 45 vol.% or below aromatic hydrocarbon, (4) a 1 vol.% or below benzene, (5) 10-30 vol.% olefin, which contains 2-30 vol.% olefin having 8C or more, based on the gasoline composition, and (6) a 70 vol.% olefin of a distillation temperature of 130°C or below, and a 90 vol.% olefin of a distillation temperature of 175°C or below.
