PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely open and close an upper lid without utilizing force for the pull-out and push-in operations of a washing container and without occupying a large space inside a case body. SOLUTION: A dishwasher comprises: the case body 1 whose front surface is opened; the washing container which is provided with an upper surface opening for taking dishes in and out, for which a dish basket for aligning and arranging the dishes is installed inside, and which is provided so as to be freely pulled out to the front from the inside of the case body 1; the upper lid 5 for opening and closing the upper surface opening of the washing container; links 6 respectively arranged on the front side and rear side of the side face of the case body 1 in the gap of the side wall of the case body 1 and the side wall of the washing container so as to make the upper lid 5 freely vertically movable; and an actuation plate 20 for connecting the link 6 arranged on the front side of the side face of the case body 1 and the link 6 arranged on the rear side of the side face of the case body 1.
