The helmet (2) can be worn in skiing or cycling, in particular in combination with a pair of goggles (3) with outer contours matching the shape of the insertion area. The goggles (3) are attached to the helmet (2) with an elastic strap (35). The ventilation device (1) is positioned above the goggles (3) and provided with an air duct (12) guiding air into the space behind the goggles (3) in order to avoid condensation. A lateral shock absorbing element (14) is integrated in both sides of the device (1).
