The invention relates to an object of value (15) for example a credit card, bank note or form of identification. The object of value (15) has a carrier layer (1), at least one first layer (21) that contains a moiré pattern and a t least one second layer (31, 33) comprising at least one moiré analyser for t he moiré pattern of the first layer (21). Said second layer is located above or below the first layer in a fixed position in relation to the first layer, in such a way that at least sections of the moiré pattern of the first layer (2 1) and the moiré analyser of the second layer (31, 33) are permanently opticall y superimposed, thus generating a permanent moiré image. |
