<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system which can complete a copy job entered by an operator more rapidly without interrupting it. <P>SOLUTION: In the image processing system having a first image processing apparatus as a master machine and at least one of second image processing apparatus as a slave machine or machines, a main controller 20 controls a connected I/F 48 such that cancel operation of a connected operation by the operator is not enabled even if the job on the master machine completes and is in standby state when running the copy job allocated to the master machine and the slave machines.
