<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing plate material accompanied by on-press development which excels in reproducibility of dots, lessens occurrence of a ghost caused by the stain of a blanket of a press and improves a printing quality and which brings about little contamination of dampening water and ink and further can reduce the number of spoiled sheets immediately after a start of printing. <P>SOLUTION: In the printing plate material of which the image forming layer provided on a substrate having hydrophilicity contains thermoplastic resin particles being in a non-film-forming state, the adhesion of the thermoplastic resin particles to the surface of the substrate is increased by heating the image forming layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
