<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coordinate input device equipped with a couple of electrodes and a spacer arranged between those electrodes, the coordinate input device being constituted so that a user does not feel a touch on the spacer and a circumference of the spacer hardly becomes a dead zone. <P>SOLUTION: The coordinate input device 10 is equipped with a fixed electrode 11 provided on a substrate 15, a flexible counter electrode 13 arranged apart from and opposite it, a key top 14 on the flexible counter electrode 13, and the spacer 12 installed between the fixed electrode 11 and flexible counter electrode 13; and the flexible counter electrode 13 is made of conductive rubber and the thickness of the flexible counter electrode 13 is twice as large as the height of the spacer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
