<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper container for a liquid comprising a laminated material provided with a base material layer consisting of at least a paper, an intermediate layer consisting of a gas barrier material, and an innermost layer consisting of a thermoplastic resin, capable of confirming the color of a content and a mixture in a content in the container, and in addition, confirming mixing of foreign matters and discoloration of the content. <P>SOLUTION: The paper container for the liquid comprises the laminated material A provided with the base material layer 1 consisting of at least the paper, the intermediate layer 2 consisting of a transparent barrier material, and the innermost layer 3 consisting of the thermoplastic resin.
