PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical substance separating method using a solid phase and capable of easily separating the substance fixed to the solid phase without applying chemical treatment, biochemical treatment, light irradiation, electric stimulation and the like. SOLUTION: The method for separating a reaction product formed by the reaction of first and second substances includes a process (a) for mixing the first substance and a temperature-sensitive carrier in a liquid phase state, a process (b) for changing the temperature-sensitive carrier to a solid phase state by changing the temperature of a reaction system to fix the anchor site of the first substance to the temperature-sensitive carrier, a process (c) for reacting the second substance with the reaction site of the first substance fixed to the temperature-sensitive carrier to obtain a reaction product, a process (d) for removing impurities from the reaction system and a process (e) for changing the temperature-sensitive carrier to a liquid phase state by changing the temperature of the reaction system to discharge the anchor site of the reaction product from the temperature-sensitive carrier.
