PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator core which can reduce iron loss by securing roundness, even when a stator is made, with ease of manufacture and securing magnetic path. SOLUTION: In a first process, a split core 14 composed of circular split back yokes 16 and teeth 18 is manufactured. In a second process, the split cores 14 are coupled with each another, by coupling members 22 made of thermoplastic resin. In a third process, stator winding 28 is applied to each tooth 18 of a straight core 12. In a fifth process, the straight core 12 is wound into ring form so as to form a stator core 30. In a sixth process, each coupling member 22 is hot melted to the split back yoke 16, thereby forming the stator core. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
