PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stacking method for coals (raw material coals) which, regarding a blended coal delivered from a pile that has been formed by stacking coals of plural brands, can prevent fluctuations of the blend ratio of the coals of respective brands. SOLUTION: This stacking method for coals comprises stacking a main brand coal C<SB>M</SB>, which is to occupy a 60 mass% or more in the blend ratio in the blended coal blended with the coals of plural brands C<SB>M</SB>, C<SB>S1</SB>, C<SB>S2</SB>and C<SB>S3</SB>, in an amount of 40 mass% or more based on the whole mass of a pile 20<SB>B</SB>, then stacking successively the coals C<SB>S1</SB>, C<SB>S2</SB>and C<SB>S3</SB>other than the main brand into layers, and at the last stacking, the remaining main brand coal C<SB>M</SB>on the uppermost layer to form the pile 20<SB>B</SB>.
