DENTAL FLOSS AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin dental floss with narrow width which has sufficient tensile strength as a dental floss and a manufacturing method for facilitating industrial working thereof. SOLUTION: A half-burnt PTFE film is slit and then extended more than 20 times as long as the original length to obtain a flat fiber with tensile strength equal to or higher than 1 g/denier and thickness 20-75μm.
