PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher greatly improving a washing performance by thickening and atomizing detergent. SOLUTION: This dishwasher is disposed with a detergent supply tray 8 in the lower part in front of a washing tub 2 and a dispersion nozzle part 16 in the bottom of the washing tub 2. The high-concentration detergent solution stored in a lower layer 26 of the detergent supply tray 8 is dispersed toward dishes along with air jetted out from an air jet nozzle 18 and stuck to the tableware with contamination. After the jetting of the high-concentration detergent solution, the high-concentration detergent solution stuck to the contamination is infiltrated, swelled and left in the state for a predetermined time for providing a high effect of the detergent.
