PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling device, a floor moving type electric device and a vacuum cleaner favorably traveling when being used for moving on a floor, besides, when storing it or carrying and using it, preventing dirt stuck to rollers from easily sticking to the clothes and the hands, and having high usability. SOLUTION: This traveling device is provided with the rollers 3 for moving, rotating shafts 2 formed into the same body or a separate body to/from the rollers 3, and cover bodies 4 covering grounding surfaces or parts near the grounding surfaces of the rollers 3; is detachably attached with the cover bodies and/or is constituted to dispose them in changeable positions. This traveling device favorably travels when being used for moving on the floor, preventing the dirt stuck to the rollers 3 from easily sticking to the clothes and the hands and has favorable usability.
