The conveyor has a sort container (1) for taking up articles and a swinging plate (3) for carrying the container. A driver applies oscillation on the swinging plate having a clutch for solvable coupling of the swinging plate to the sort container. The clutch covers a cone (7), with its axle vertically displaceable. The lateral surface of the cone affects a clamping latch plate horizontally stored at the plate. A vertical movement of the cone over the clamping latch plate (4) is strutted radially shifted outwards and turned away with the cone against pressing surfaces of the sort container.
