<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container lid consisting of a shell made of a thin metal sheet and a synthetic resin-made liner in which a neck part of a container made of the thin metal sheet can be temporarily sealed by the container lid, and the container lid can be sufficiently and reliably sealed to the neck part as required, and easily unsealed. <P>SOLUTION: A liner 14 disposed on an inner surface of a top wall 16 of a metal shell 12 includes an interposition part 46 to connect an inner annular projecting part 42 to an outer annular projecting part 44, and a radial outer part of an interposition part of the liner and the outer annular projecting part are in a non-adhesive to weakly-adhesive state with respect to the inner surface of the top wall of the shell. When the container lid is attached to the neck part of the container, an outer circumferential surface of the inner annular projecting part of the liner is brought into contact with an inner circumferential surface of a curl to temporarily seal the neck part. When the top wall of the shell is depressed downward, and a boundary area between the top wall of the shell and a skirt wall is depressed downward and inwardly in the radial direction, the interposition part of the liner is extended in the radial direction, and the outer annular projecting part is tightly brought into contact with the outer circumferential surface of the curl to tightly seal the neck part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
