<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image recording apparatus which enables a user to easily inspect density gradation characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: When instructions to evaluate the density gradation characteristics are input from the user, a test pattern for evaluating the density gradation characteristics, which is composed of a plurality of density areas, is recorded on a recording medium, so that a density of each density area of the recorded test pattern can be measured; and it is determined whether or not the measured density exists within a predetermined range, so that a warning can be issued when the measured density does not exist within the predetermined range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
