<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flange fixing structure of a pipe capable of firmly fixing the pipe to a flange immovably in both the axial and circumferential directions though its structure is simple. <P>SOLUTION: A roughly spiral groove part 2b is continuously engraved from one end side peripheral edge part to the other end side peripheral edge part along the inner peripheral surface of the hole part 2a of the flange 2 to such a length that is terminated midway to or immediately before arriving at the other end side peripheral edge part of the hole part 2a. Then, the end part 1a of the pipe 1 inserted into the hole part 2a of the flange 2 is radially expanded, the outer peripheral surface of the end part 1a is deformed to such a shape that roughly matches the roughly spiral groove part 2b engraved in the inner peripheral surface of the hole part 2a, and a projected line part 1b formed on the outer peripheral surface of the end part 1a is engaged with the groove part 2b engraved in the inner peripheral surface of the hole part 2a to lockingly stop the movement in the axial direction. Also, the end part of the projected line part 1b is brought into contact with the end part of the groove part 2b to lockingly stop the rotation in the circumferential direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
