<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an active energy ray curable printing ink composition printable with a printing machine for an oily ink and to provide a print having highly glossy and beautiful high class feeling by combination with an active energy ray curable overprinting varnish. <P>SOLUTION: The active energy ray curable printing ink composition is characterized as comprising 0.1-20 wt.% of a vegetable oil, its fatty acid ester or a modified material thereof (A), 1-40 wt.% of an alkyd resin (B), 10-70 wt.% of an acrylate or a methacrylate monomer (C) of an alcohol having a 1-18C alkyl group and 1-40 wt.% of a colorant or an extender pigment (D). The alkyd resin (B) is obtained by carrying out an esterifying reaction of a monobasic acid (B1) with a polyol (B2) and a polybasic acid (B3) and has a cyclic structure and 50-180°C softening point. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
