PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk player having a structure, by which a door can be opened and closed by utilizing power supplied from a driving source which concerns transport of a tray and rotation of a chassis, load applied to the driving source is reduced and a deflection defect of the door can be prevented. SOLUTION: The optical disk player includes: a body; the tray to move in and out of the body so as to transport an optical disk; the chassis rotatably installed inside the body; an optical pickup, which is installed to be able to move back and forth in the chassis, to record/play back information onto/from the optical disk that is rotatably placed on a turntable; a cover member installed on a front of the body and including a door holder with an aperture through which the tray moves and the door to be able to slide along the door holder so as to open and close the aperture; and a cam action mechnism device to activate the tray, to rotate the chassis, and to open and close the door by sliding.
