TRAVEL STATE ADVICE SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel state advice system which preferentially displays a specific point where the degree of danger is high. SOLUTION: The travel state advice system is equipped with: a road traffic information acquiring means 1 for acquiring road traffic information in the direction where a user's vehicle travels; a recommended speed estimating means 2 for calculating a recommended speed for a safe travel of the user's vehicle on a road based upon at least the road traffic information; a specific point extracting means 14 for extracting the specific point where the recommended speed changes on the road where the user's vehicle travels; an acceleration/deceleration calculating means 15 for calculating acceleration or deceleration needed for the user's vehicle to reach the recommended speed before reaching the specific point; an information presentation point selecting means 16 for selecting the specific point where the acceleration or deceleration is minimum as a specific point for presenting information to the driver of the user's vehicle; an information content control means 17 of controlling the contents of the information to be presented to the driver; and an information presenting means 4 for presenting the contents of the information to the driver.
