PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine easy to use and capable of preventing the clothes from being washed with an inappropriate liquid detergent. SOLUTION: The washing machine comprises a washing/dewatering tub (not indicated), a detergent tank (not indicated) for reserving a liquid detergent, an air pump 18 for feeding the liquid detergent into the washing/dewatering tub, and an input setting means 24 for setting the operation time of a washing process and a washing course. The air pump 18 is controlled so that the quantity of the liquid detergent to be fed is changed according to the washing course set by the input setting means 24.
