PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sulky transplanter having a seedling planting implement on the rear side of the travelling body, having a safe and simple structure making seedling supply well performable and decreasing, as much as possible, miss step on action in seedling supply. SOLUTION: This sulky rice transplanter is equipped with a seedling planting implement 4 having seedling-mounting tables 42 at the rear side of a travelling body 2 and has a main step 21 and a seat 20 at a higher place than front wheels 6 and rear wheels 7 of the travelling body 2. Extended steps 22a and 24 having downwardly see-through stepping planes are set at the both right and left side of the main step 21, which extended steps 22a and 24 have step planes positioned behind the seat 20 at a higher position than stepping planes positioned in front of the seat 20. The sulky transplanter has guard bodies 25, each of which projects individually to the upper side of the step planes, at the right and left ends of the stepping planes of the body rear part and positioned at the higher positions.
