PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insect-proofing material allowing everyone to simply carry out the reduction or promotion of the volatilization of an insect-proofing compound volatile at normal temperature. SOLUTION: This insect-proofing material is composed of a foldable pillar-shaped material comprising many cells including the insect-proofing compound volatile at the normal temperature, and a pillar-shaped container including the pillar-shaped material and having many opening parts. One of the upper and lower terminals of the pillar-shaped material is fixed to the surface of the pillar-shaped container, and a folding-preventing means of the pillar-shaped material is installed in the other terminal of the pillar-shaped material.
