PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of degrading organic matter by microorganisms. SOLUTION: An activator for organic matter-degrading microorganisms comprises multiple kinds of nutrients, wherein the nutrients contain 0.001-0.003 wt.% of L-alanine, 0.001-0.003 wt.% ofβ-alanine and 0.0005-0.0015 wt.% of 4-aminobutyric acid, respectively.
