The invention relates to a damping arrangement for guide vanes, especially f or guide vanes of a gas turbine or a aircraft engine. In the inventive damping arrangement, guide vanes (28) pertaining to a guide vane grid or a guide van e ring (27) are fixed to a housing with the radially outer ends (29) thereof. The radially inner ends (30) of the guide vanes (28) form an inner covering strip (31), at least one sealing carrier (32) being fixed to the inner covering strip (31) of the guide vanes (28). At least one spring element (34 ) is arranged between the inner covering strip (31) of the guide vanes (28) an d the or each sealing carrier (32). According to the invention, the or each spring element (34) is embodied as a leaf spring.
