<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hologram recording device capable of stably recording the data to be recorded to a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: The hologram recording device includes a light source generating a coherent reference light beam, a signal light generation section including a space modulator for generating a signal light beam by spatially modulating the reference light beam according to information data, an interference section for forming an area of a diffraction grating by a light interference pattern within the recording medium by irradiating the recording medium, through an objective lens, with the signal light beam and the reference light beam, a lens positioning section for positioning an objective lens with respect to a recording surface of the recording medium, and a photodetecting section for detecting the return beam returning through the objective lens from the recording medium. The signal light generation section includes a correction means for correcting the position of a recording data setting area by detecting the optical position deviation between the recording data setting area of the spatial modulator supplied with the data to be recorded included in the information data and the open area of the objective lens. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
