ABNORMALITY DIAGNOSTIC METHOD, STATE DISCRIMINATING DEVICE, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, MANAGEMENT DEVICE AND MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality diagnostic method etc. capable of quickly starting a highly reliable abnormality diagnosis of an image forming apparatus after the image forming apparatus is delivered to a user.

SOLUTION: The gain of plural sets of data of plural kinds of information relating to a state of the image forming apparatus is performed during an operation test after the manufacture of a plurality of image forming apparatuses, with regard to a plurality of the image forming apparatuses of the same type containing the image forming apparatus as a state discrimination object. A reference data group containing all of the plural sets of data gained during the operation test of a plurality of the image forming apparatuses is used as an initial reference data group for determining an index value calculating expression that calculates an index value for the state discrimination. Further, the gain and addition of data for the reference data group is preferably performed with a prescribed update timing after starting the operation of the delivered image forming apparatus. It is also preferred that the gain and addition of the data is performed only for separate data groups consisting of the data gained with respect to the information susceptible to the influence of operation conditions according to a user of the image forming apparatus.
