<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator device which can be miniaturized and has a variable optical attenuation function and an optical switch function. <P>SOLUTION: The actuator device is provided with a body of rotation having a revolving shaft, a mount fixed to the revolving shaft, a shield plate having a reflection surface fixed to the mount, a revolving shaft holding section for rotationally supporting the revolving shaft, a revolution regulation plate for regulating the rotating position of the body of rotation, an attitude holding means for causing the self-holding of the body of rotation, a drive means for moving the body of rotation, and a thermal deformation means of the shield plate and is given an optical switch function. The thermal deformation means has a heat transfer means for raising or lowering the temperature of the shield plate and a temperature control means for controlling the heat transfer means and is given the variable optical attenuation function by constituting the means in such a manner that the angle formed by the optical axis of the reflection surface of the shield plate and the optical axis of an optical fiber is varied by adjusting the temperature of the shield plate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
