WASTEWATER TREATMENT APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wastewater treatment apparatus having an upflow anaerobic biological treatment device capable of obtaining a sufficient gas lift effect even when treating low-load wastewater generating a small amount of biogas.

SOLUTION: An ejector 34 is disposed on a transfer line 30 for carrying organic wastewater from an acid generation tank 10 to an anaerobic reaction tank 20. The biogas discharged from the anaerobic reaction tank 20 is introduced into the ejector 34 through a gas circulation line 40 to be mixed with the organic wastewater. The biogas in a gas-liquid mixed flow state containing the biogas as fine bubbles is introduced to a distributor 22 installed under the anaerobic reaction tank 20, and then introduced into the anaerobic reaction tank 20. The introduced biogas brings about the gas lift effect in the anaerobic reaction tank 20.
