PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide particulate high crystallinity silver powder having satisfactory dispersibility, having a particle size distribution which is not too shape and is relatively broad and having large crystallites, and to provide its production method. SOLUTION: In the method for producing high crystalline silver powder, a first aqueous solution comprising silver nitrate, a dispersing agent and nitric acid and a second aqueous solution comprising ascorbic acid are mixed. As the dispersing agent, polyvinylpyrrolidone or gelatine is preferably used. The high crystalline silver powder is produced by the above method, and the size of the crystallites is≥300Å, the average particle diameter D<SB>50</SB>is 0.5 to 10μm, and its heat-shrink rate in the longitudinal direction at 700°C is±3%. In the silver powder, D<SB>90</SB>/D<SB>10</SB>is preferably 2.1 to 5.0. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
